Two faculty members from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Missouri S&T were commended for their significant achievements and service. This recognition took place during an awards luncheon on Dec. 4 in the Havener Center on campus.
The Faculty Achievement Award recognizes non-tenure-track faculty who have demonstrated sustained excellence in two of the following areas: teaching, research, and service. Dr. Jillian Schmidt was recognized as the recipient of the MAE department.
The Faculty Service Award recognizes faculty who display exemplary, sustained service to the university and to their profession, with Dr. Jonghyun Park being the honoree from the MAE department.
These awards underscore the exceptional commitment and contributions of the MAE faculty to the broader educational and professional community at Missouri S&T.
